Quality certifications

Ace Link Industrial Inc. maintains:

ISO 9001:2015 — Quality Management Systems.
BA 9000:2016 — Body Armor Quality Management System Requirements.

Scope of these certifications. ISO 9001:2015 and BA 9000:2016 certify our quality management system and manufacturing processes. They are not ballistic performance certifications and are not a representation that any product will protect against any particular threat, projectile, or condition of use. Ballistic performance is addressed only by the specific test standard and protection level stated for an individual product, and is subject to the limitations in the section below.

PRODUCT SAFETY AND LIMITATION OF PROTECTION

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT LIMITS OUR LIABILITY.

Ballistic protective equipment reduces, but does not eliminate, the risk of injury or death. NO BODY ARMOR IS BULLETPROOF. Our products are tested against specific threats under controlled laboratory conditions. Real-world outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including projectile type, velocity, angle of impact, distance, point of impact, panel coverage, fit, correct wear, product age and condition, storage, and prior impact.

Specifically:

Armor rated to a given protection level offers protection only against the threats specified for that level. It does not protect against other threats, including rounds above its rating, edged or spike weapons unless separately rated, or blast and fragmentation unless separately rated.
Coverage is limited to the area physically covered by the ballistic panel or plate. Areas outside that coverage are unprotected.
Behind-armor blunt trauma, injury, and death remain possible even where a panel or plate defeats a projectile.
Any armor that has been struck, dropped, submerged, exposed to heat or chemicals, altered, or used past its stated service life must be removed from service and must not be relied upon.

You are responsible for selecting equipment appropriate to your threat environment, for wearing and maintaining it correctly, and for observing all stated service-life and inspection requirements.

Warranty disclaimer

Except for any express written limited warranty supplied with a specific product, all products are supplied "AS IS" AND "WITH ALL FAULTS." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this disclaimer may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ACE LINK INDUSTRIAL INC. IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, PERSONAL INJURY, OR DEATH, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE PURCHASE OR USE OF ANY PRODUCT OR THIS WEBSITE, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM A PRODUCT OR ORDER WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THAT PRODUCT OR ORDER.

Nothing in this notice excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Regulatory compliance

Body armor is regulated equipment. Purchaser eligibility, state transfer requirements, and export restrictions are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms. Placing an order constitutes your confirmation that you are legally permitted to purchase and possess the items ordered in your jurisdiction.

It is the purchaser's responsibility to know and comply with the law applicable to them. We do not provide legal advice on eligibility.

Product information and specifications

We work to keep product descriptions, protection ratings, weights, and dimensions accurate, but we do not warrant that all content on this site is complete, current, or error-free. Specifications may change without notice. Where an on-page specification conflicts with the documentation supplied with the physical product, the product documentation governs.

We reserve the right to correct errors, including pricing errors, and to cancel any order placed against an incorrect price or specification.
